Life Lately: The Messy Middle

Whew. It’s been a while, huh?

If you’ve been wondering where I disappeared to—well, I’ve been busy being in the downs of life. (And let me tell you, 0/10, would not recommend.)

The past few months have been a mix of stress, overwhelm, and way too many “just one more thing” moments. You know the kind—when every little task suddenly feels like a boss level you weren’t trained for. Between client work, unexpected life stuff, and trying to hold everything together with duct tape and caffeine, I’ve basically been running on autopilot.

And now, because the universe loves a good plot twist—I’m moving. This month. While dog-sitting. For multiple dogs. Because apparently, I like a challenge?

So right now, life looks like this: half-packed boxes, a rotating cast of furry roommates, and me somewhere in the middle trying to remember if I already packed the scissors or if the dogs ate them. (Kidding. Mostly.)

But here’s the truth—I’m tired. And also? Weirdly proud. Because even when things are messy and stressful and not at all Instagram-pretty, I’m still showing up. Still creating. Still moving forward, even if it’s in tiny, coffee-fueled steps.

So if you’re also in a season that feels like survival mode, same. You’re not behind. You’re just human.

Anyway, I just wanted to pop back in and say hi, I’m still here. I’ll be back with more once I’m unpacked, less stressed, and surrounded by slightly fewer dogs. (Maybe.)
